Really nice composition. The fewer elements that you have in a painting the more spot on each one needs to be. These elements all came together nicely.
thank you very much, i appreciate that feedback. Its one of the more ‘minimalist’ (for me) pieces i have done,… knowing when to stop played a big part in this one.
dr coutis, thankyou so much! not sure what you are meaning? is it an online gallery? Just message me at: reinacottier@gmail.com if you like, and we can discuss further. Many thanks!! have a great day.
Danielle, (awesome pic of you there btw!!!!!), thanks YES, its an oldy… did it about 2 years ago and it was appropriate for the contest guidelines, which was it had to have ‘drip or splatter’ technique. Hope you are well!
(Thank you, I am pleased with how that photo came out. ^.^) Starry splatter for the win — quite literally, in your case! And I am indeed well; working weekends at local Renaissance Faire is taking it out of me, but it’s the best kind of exhaustion, and I’m hanging out with a great bunch of people. (:
I am an artist, living in Aotearoa/New Zealand and I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful land. My art (acrylic on canvas) has been described as:soulful, mystical, ethereal, empowered, all I know is it comes from the heart, not a lot of 'thinking' goes on, its all from within. :-) I am focusing on living fully in the 'now', being true to myself, evolving, learning, expanding my horizons. I love life! I tend to see the funny side of everything. I love mixing with all walks of life. Each to their own. I like who I am & I have no regrets about anything in my life. What I am today, I may or may not be tomorrow, as each experience in my life re-shapes me every single day. I am a strong free spirit, empowered and proud, and I feel this is expressed in my art.
